UPGRADING

Should you wish to upgrade the car included in your villa holiday price or wish to take an additional car, please view the Car Hire Chart below for car groups and various models available. Please contact us for further details and pricing.

 

 

We recommend you take into consideration the amount of luggage in your party to ensure sufficient room in your vehicle on arrival.

We kindly remind you that any overloading of a vehicle invalidates the insurance being null and void and may result in the refusal by the car hire company to accept your reservation, which The Best Villas Pollensa cannot be held responsible.

CAR CHANGES AND CANCELATION

The vacation Package includes villa and car group B (only for bookings confirmed directly with The Best Villas Pollensa). In case the included car in the package was canceled, we would deduct the corresponding amount per week (The amount to be deducted per week is calculated depending on the month of your booking). Note that, once the car has been canceled, should the client decide to hire it again later, the price for the car will be the stipulated for an additional group B car (not the amount deducted).

Should the included car or extra car hire reservations as well as extra items (babyseats, boosterseats, full tank, GPS, etc.) be cancelled two weeks or less prior to arrival date, without submission of medical certificate or documentation to state reason of late cancellation i.e. illness, in the case of upgraded car, extra car/s and extra items clients will be expected to pay for their reserved vehicles and extras; In case of the included car, there will be no reimbursement of the amount corresponding to the car.

Car hire changes up to 21 days in advance (including car collection and return points, collection and return times, extras, etc.) will be accepted or denied always depending on availability. The Best Villas Pollensa reserves the right to accept or deny any change requested depending on availability.

PRICE INCLUDES:

- Delivery and collection either Villa or Office in Pollensa.
- Taxes and third-party insurance (no excess).
- Unlimited mileage.
- ¼ tank of fuel: cars are supplied with ¼ tank of fuel and must be returned with similar amount of fuel as collected.
- One extra driver (no supplement charge).
- Car Hire Garage facilities in resort available for on spot trouble shooting.
- Extra hours of use during the departure day until 16:00h when the return point is the office in Pollensa (extra hours will incur an extra charge of 6€ per hour).

Not included in the price:

If you wish to get the car included in the price of the villa (which only includes third-party insurance), we require adding and paying for the fully comprehensive insurance (no excess) which covers all possible damage to the car except:

- Lost or stolen key/s.
- Wrong use of the clutch.
- Damage caused by reckless driving.
- Damage caused under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Failure to comply with contract conditions (e.g. not stated in the accident report that is supplied with our rental agreement). 
- Refuelling with wrong fuel.
- Damage to upholstery and locks.
- Damage to the underneath of the vehicle.
- Damage or loss of aerial, jack, windscreen wipers or petrol cap.
- Damage to the motor due to negligence.
- Theft of the vehicle with the keys in the ignition.
- Parking tickets.
- In the event of a FLAT TYRE or any damage to the tyre, CLIENT must CHANGE IT to the SPARE WHEEL. Once changed, contact us and we will proceed with the damaged tyre reparation. Spare wheel is located in the car boot.

 

COMPULSORY COMPREHENSIVE INSURANCE

- Group B, B1 Automatic, C, C1 Automatic, G: 8€ per day.
- Group D, E: 11€ per day.

 

EXTRAS

 

On request at an additional cost

- Booster seats / Baby seats: Styles of baby seats may differ to those you are accustomed to in your own country. Accessories are not installed by the company as required by Car Hire insurance company.
The Best Villas Pollensa and Vives Cars rentals are not responsible of any problem from incorrect accessories installations.
- Gps
- Young, mature and novice drivers insurance. Drivers under the age of 21, over the age of 75 (both ages included) or with less than one year of valid driving license are required to contract an extra insurance for young, mature and novice drivers (under request).
- Full tank of fuel. Cars with full tank have to be returned empty. At the vehicle delivery, claims related to fuel surplus are not admitted.

Any preknown flight/ time change must be informed to The Best Villas Pollensa SL. If we do not receive this information we cannot guarantee to supply the car at the correct time.

Upon termination of the vehicle rental period, the vehicle must be returned in accordance with the instructions provided in the vehicle rental agreement, either at the designated villa or at the premises of “The Best Villas Pollença, S.L.”, located at Calle Picapedrer, B11, within the municipality of Pollença.

Should the vehicle not be returned as stipulated, the lessee expressly authorizes the lessor to charge all costs arising from the retrieval and transportation of the vehicle to the aforementioned premises, including but not limited to fuel expenses, personnel involved in the collection and transportation, and any other related charges.

Please note: Completed car hire form must be sent four weeks maximum before the arrival date. In case we do not receive the completed car hire form in time, we cannot guarantee the car will be ready at your arrival time. Please note, The Best Villas Pollensa SL has made arrangements so that your contract is pre/prepared to avoid you delays and long wait in lineups.
