Easter-holy week Pollensa 2014

The Easter and Holy week celebrations are due to begin in Pollensa this coming week.






The local Tourist office and Pollensa Council have leaflets and general information of the processions regards uptodate timings and venues activities take place during days April 17th and 20th.

The Holy Week in Pollensa attracts many who come on holiday especially to be here to join in and view the processions that take place in the town. See our Easter Promotion 2nd week half price


Palm Sunday traditionally people participate in the procession throughout the winding streets of Pollensa some carrying olive branches and/or palms.

There is also procession that starts in the Parish Church of Pollensa making its way via varied routes of the town.

The most appreciated is the event of “El Davallament the descent of the Calvary, being a procession that begins at the top of the Calvary steps and ends finally in the Parish church of Pollensa.
