Formentor Beach. Nearer to home, you can drive the approx. 6/7klm kilometres over the mountain range , experiencing wonderful views along the way, including saying hello to the odd goat here and there, or catch the local boat in the harbour Puerto Pollensa that goes over regularly during the day . The Beach is long and narrow, yet flanked by pines giving shade. The beach is fine white sand, the sea is turquoise crystal clear. There is a beach bar that belongs to the famous Formentor Hotel offering facilities to drink and eat, its a beach don’t be surprised if you find yourself swimming with a famous movie star, politician, actor or someone from a well known musical group, who stay at the Hotel Formentor.

Cala St Vincent Beach. Mins drive from both Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa. Three lovely beaches. Cala Barques reached by steps, Cala Molins larger beach and most busiest, has a small reef area ideal for snorkelling, the smallest beach is nestled around cliffs a small cove with pebbles. All beaches offer clear beautiful blue waters, ideal beaches for families, stunning views, ideal waters to snorkel, scuba dive.

Muro Beach Alcudia. Wow factor!!! Our piece of the “Caribe” keep this a secret! never ending stretch of fine white sand, with the clearest turquoise waters one could never imagine, some areas of the of the beach are flanked by dunes behind, and are areas in between the hotels that have quieter than the rest, the waters are shallow, and ideal for children. This approx 10 klm beach offers ideal conditions for kite flying and other water sports.

Cala Mesquida Beach. On the road that goes to Arta on the East Coast. Fabulous beach for windsurfers, area is known for its natural surrounds and beauty. The beach is an open bay can be windy, yet the beach is soft white sand, waters turquoise and the wind can bring in some great waves, ideal for body surfing, so remember to pack the surfboard with you.

Calla Agulla Beach. Not far from Mesquida on the east coast near Cala Ratjada beach is approx. 500 metres long, white sand, turquoise clear waters. Can be crowded in July and August, so when the local Spanish tourists depart back to Madrid after their summer holidays, September, is an ideal time to visit.

Es Trench Beach. Further away from home in Pollensa on the south east coast. The most famous beach in Mallorca which is still relatively preserved, and in some areas its a case of “as god made you no one giving a fig” popular with naturists, as it is one of Mallorcas official nudist beaches. Beach spans for 2 klm fine white sand crystal clear water is tremendously popular in summer and especially so weekends, as many come from Palma

Cala Mondrago Beach. Approx only 8 kilometres south of Cala Dor. Beautiful sandy beach one beach is reached by a rocky headland. It is quite isolated, and a preserved area, yet the beach can still become busy during summer weekends. The waters are crystal clear and you have the choice of two beaches the furthest away is less crowded both have a small beach bar for drinks. The walk around the headland is part of the attraction of these two beautiful beaches.
There are of course, many other beautiful coves and beaches on the Island to explore that we could suggest, some with sandy beaches, some pebble coves, some a mix of sand and stone, we have chosen beaches with glorious white sands, ideal for families and children, most with shallow waters, and popped in Cala Mesquida for those beach freaks, who love some action of great body surfing waves and fast windsurfing, offering you the best of all beach worlds.
We hope you enjoy visiting our suggested beaches, we feel sure you will not be disappointed with any beach you may finally choose to visit, and don’t worry, next time your here staying in one of our great Villas, Villa Guixa or Ventet for example which are less than 10 mins drive away from wonderful Muro Beach, you can always visit the ones you missed, they wont go away / and will be awaiting your return!
