APRIL\/MAY POLLENSA AND MALLORCA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear All<\/p>\n<p>Some <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">&#8220;<strong>upcoming events&#8221;<\/strong><\/span> that may prove of interest for those here in resort on holiday with us, or soon to arrive during <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">April and May.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thebestvillaspollensa.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/splash.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-599\" alt=\"splash\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thebestvillaspollensa.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/splash.jpg\" width=\"160\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>EVENTS THAT INCLUDE\u00a0 &#8220;<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>SPLASHING EVENTS OF SEAPLANES !!! not to be missed.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>APRIL EVENTS<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>The Pollensa Wine Fair<\/b>.\u00a0 It is normally on the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> weekend in April that Pollensa hosts its annual wine fair.\u00a0 It is always a very appreciated and popular event, allowing an excellent selection of wines to taste and enjoy from both wines here in Mallorca and includes other Balearic Islands contributions of wines also. There is an entry fee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>General Spring Fairs. <\/b>These include rural and agricultural fairs, arts and crafts markets along with livestock fairs. These fairs are generally island wide on various dates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>April 2<sup>nd<\/sup> feast<\/b> of St. Francis is held throughout the Islands generally.<b><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Palma Mallorca.<\/b>\u00a0 Princess Sofia Trophy for all you of you who enjoy sea events in April. The yachting regatta is one of the most important events within the sailing\u00a0world in the Balearic Islands.<b><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>MAY EVENTS<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Puerto Pollensa. <\/b>The military base in Puerto Pollensa will have a &#8220;<strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">splashing&#8221;<\/span><\/strong> \u00a0event between 9th and 12<sup>th<\/sup> <strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">May \u201cSeaplane Splash-In\u201d.<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong> This comprises\u00a0 different crafts from various countries\u00a0appearing at the Event.\u00a0 The base will also be open for the general public to\u00a0view the \u201c<strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">planes\u201d<\/span> <\/strong>on Sunday 11<sup>th<\/sup> May.<b><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Soller. <\/b>Normally the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Sunday in May mock battles take place to mark raid by Turkish Pirates.<b><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For all our guests who shall be staying with us on or around \u00a0the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> weekend of April its well worth a visit to the\u201d <strong>\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>local Pollensa Wine Fair<\/strong>\u201d,<\/span> even if you don\u2019t \u00a0indulge in a sip of vino, \u00a0its still worth\u00a0a visit\u00a0 &#8211; atmosphere is vibrant,\u00a0also, \u00a0as\u00a0its\u00a0such an \u00a0appreciated fair, by both locals and visitors,\u00a0try and pop it into your agenda of <b>\u201c<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Things not to miss and do\u201d\u2026.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>As always,<\/strong> we recommend you check with your local Tourist Office\u00a0for \u00a0up- to- date news on days and \u00a0dates of events taking place.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><b>Do not forget to watch this space for further &#8221;\u00a0events &#8221;\u00a0coming up in June and July\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026.!!!<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Wishing you all a nice day.<\/p>\n<p><b>THE BEST VILLAS POLLENSA<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear All Some &#8220;upcoming events&#8221; that may prove of interest for those here in resort on holiday with us, or soon to arrive during April and May.
